Masonic Drive Night Deposit Robbery

An 18 year old employee of "Vitamin World" tells police he was robbed in the drive thru of Capitol One Bank on Masonic Drive. The victim told Alexandria Police a white male approached him with a black pistol and told him to "drop it" and "leave". The victim complied and drove away to Books A Million, where he called police. The suspect is described as 5'10'', 170 pounds, wearing a "beanie cap" with his face covered. The victim saw a green sedan with one occupant with a missing hubcap on the right rear tire. It may have been the "getaway" car. Police are getting surveillance video from the bank for more evidence. The robber got away with 410 dollars in cash and 223-dollars in checks. It happened Saturday night about 9:30.
