A local teacher has been arrested again for trying to contact a 15 year old male student after being ordered to cease all contact with the teen.
25 year old Sherry Gentle of Alexandria was previously arrested on charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. The boy was her student at Arthur Smith Middle Magnet School. The teen's grandmother's suspicion he was having sex with the teacher sparked the original investigation.
Gentle was released from jail on January 6th with stipulation she could not contact the boy.
She failed to follow orders and is also charged with contempt of court.
